Im thinking of getting some aggressive skates. I skate pretty well with my recreational blades. Basicly is there any difference between the way you skate like do the wheels ware out quicker or do you have to have bigger strides?

ok well first off most aggressive skates have more protective padding for what you do with aggressive skatesso the feel a little diff.
speed skates wheels are big and not made to take a beating like wheels for aggressive skates, speed skates wheels often break. o if you have ever had a wheel break on you u wont feel that any more
aggressive skates have grooves all over the place for grinding
speed skates dont.

youll probly find that aggressive skate are heavier.
and yes some wheels do wear out faster, but if you go to rollerwarehouse.com find their # call em they will hook you up
i would recommend eulogy wheels. i have had mine for a month and they have not worn a cm

you dont really have to take bigger strides but you just pump faster than usual because the wheels are smaller.

oh and if you dont know what kind of skates to get i recomend either razor icons or trs downtown 4’s or 2’s
