longboarding and skatebording?

so i am the good old age of 14 and my weird life long dream is i wanna skate and be good at it but i have no experience what so ever i mean i roller bladed but that tis all what i am really trying to say is whats easierr long-boarding or skateboardingg what should i do first ect… so yah

Longboarding is skateboarding. The ease of learning how to ride is about the same. Longboards are more stable because of their length and width, but the techniques are identical. You need to decide what type of skating you want to do first, and then get the board to fit that style.
