How good do you have to be to get sponsored by a local skate shop?
Like what kind of tricks do you have to be able to do to get sponsored by a local skate shop. I know i’m not good enough yet but i want to know about how good i should be. Just give it your best answer cuz i know all skate shops are different.
you half to have a nice bag of tricks and be well rounded as a skater being able to skate street and park i would say as most shops want you to skate contest so that would help out a lot if your a good park skater..You should have alot of flip tricks in the bag some nice grind tricks maybe some flip in and flip out stuff on a ledge and the same with manuels and have a few nice switch tricks too can and will help…The key thing with sponsers is not what you can do really its how you present yourself as a person to be honest with you and then its your skating if your a cool guy and have a good personality that will get your along way in the buisness period…

You have to make a good sponsor me tape..go on the Emerica website and look at the sponsor me videos,if you read the comments that the reviewer leaves it can really help you out…

learn to olie off of stuff like 4 or 5 sets thats a good start
