Seattle Humane Society Spays and Neuters Pit Bulls For Free

A new program in King County is helping pit bull owners spay and neuter their pit bulls for free, thanks to a $50,000 grant from Petsmart charities. According to a King5 News report, the program is being offered by the Seattle Humane Society. Their funding covers the cost for 750 pit bulls or pit bull mixes to be spayed, neutered and vaccinated. Pit bulls and pit bull mixes constitute about 30 percent of animals found in shelters. More than 50 pit bull owners have already signed up for the program. If you are interested, please call 425-649-7560 to schedule an appointment for your pit bull.

The idea is that this will help reduce the number of dogs that are on the streets as unwanted pets.

If you or a loved one have suffered from a dog bite or dog attack you should consult a Tacoma personal injury lawyer to find out what your rights are and how you can seek the justice you deserve.
