Are etnies better than dvs skate shoes for a beginner?

And how long do both brands usually last?

Hey, don’t get etnies because my friend had a pair once and it only lasted about 2 months and he skates. Get DVS because I had a pair and it lasted me a year and I skate and I’ve been skating for a year and I’m pretty good.

    NEVER NEVER SKATE ETNIES.
    On the box it says, not intended for skateboarding, they are shoes for posers.

    etnies are meant more fer style…Dvs will last longer
