i am so gald u ask this question bcuz my house almost burned down 2day when i was cook baccon n d oven =) i had 2 call de firefiters n dey told me i needed a new element. i think u can find them at juss about any hardware store

you can buy a new one. If you cant install it easiliy you can call for repair service. They usually charge about $69 for the initial call and may have the part on their truck. The part that I just got was $100.00 You can usually get information from the manufacturers web site or by calling them. Be sure that you have the model number handy. DO NOT use this until its repaired. It is a definite hazzard.

DO NOT USE IT! My husband got hurt that way and our apartment could have burned down!

You can just buy a new element…look online for the manufacturers website…they may list a newer element that is compatible with your older stove.

usually easily replaced depending on the model. Some just unplug; some are screwed in; some require a serviceman to change. Grab a flashligh and see; if not sure, call a repairman; much cheaper than a whole new range

pull on it and it will unplug and go buy a new one. I don't think they're that expensive.
