What is the probability of picking three kings out of a deck?

Three cards are drawn from a standard deck. Each card standard deck. Each card is placed back in the deck after it is drawn, and the deck is shuffled completely each time. What is the probability that all three cards are kings?

there is a 1/13 chance of it. That is only if there is no jokers

    4/52 * 4/52 * 4/52 = 1/2197 chance. So not very likely.

A deck with no jokers has 52 cards. There are 4 kings, so the chance of drawing a king is 4/52 (= 1/13).

Since the card is replaced and shuffled each time, the chance is the same each time.

1/13 * 1/13 * 1/13 is the chance of drawing three kings in a row, each 1/13 is for one of the draws.

    You have a 4 in 52 or 1 in 13 or 0.08333% probability to pick a king.
You have an 8 in 2704 or 1 in 338 or 0.0029585% probability to pick two kings.
You have a 12 in 140608 or 1 in 11717 or .0000853460% probability to pick three kings.

It’s a little subtle, but you are not picking three kings, you are picking 1 king 3 times.
