CV parsing is essentially syntactic analysis used for the purpose of recruitment. Using a CV parser system breaks down the CVs submitted to recruiters into logical sections such as; Name, Contact details, Education, Employment and Skills. This makes it easier for the recruiter to search and compare different sections on a candidate’s CV when attempting to match a candidate to a job vacancy, or compare the same sections for different candidates to evaluate their suitability.
