What tricks do women use to trick men into marriage?

Sunday, February 14th, 2010

I am a 34 year old single guy. I have never been in a serious relationship and I have never had sex because I am shy around women and have concentrated on my education and career. Now that I have a great career and have established myself I am considering dating. I have been told I am very good looking but never really noticed when women came on to me before. My concern is some woman will now try to trap me into marriage. What should I look out for? What tricks do women use to trick men into marriage?

The only trap I can think of is pregnancy – and sadly I’ve heard of girls (not any that I knew personally) that have used this to get a man to marry them.

ALWAYS use a condom – it doesn’t matter if she says she’s on birth control or not – use it use it use it use it!

BRING your own condom – DO NOT use one she supplies for you. My coworkers ex-best friend supposedly poked holes in a condom because she wanted a baby, and she got it!

But remember, most women are not out there to trick a man into marriage or force a man to procreate with them. Most want companionship and love and want to reciprocate. Do not be paranoid of all women who want to date you – just use protection, and make sure it’s your own, and get to know them before you commit to anything – that’s the most important part.

Would a 7 year old cockatiel be too old to learn tricks?

Thursday, February 11th, 2010

I have a 7 year old cockatiel. I’ve heard that the younger cockatiels are easier to teach tricks. Seven years of age isn’t necessarily that old, but would it be possible for me to teach him a word to say or a trick?
Thank you!
I have had him since he was very young. We have bonded throughout the years and he is very nice to me.
Please include tricks that are easy to teach in your answer.
Thank you to all the people that answered my question I appriciate it!

You should be able to teach him at any age. We get in rescues of all age and most of them learn very quickly. Find his fav treat and teach by repetition and reward. Say something over and over, when ever he says it give a treat. You can also use que words like I used to fake sneeze then say bless you. Eventually my bird started to mimic so I would sneeze and if he said bless you he got a treat. You can do that with anything. Just stay consistent and positive. Good Luck

What are some good tips and tricks for full backs/defenders?

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010

I’m in 8th grade and soccer starts up at my school in about a month. I’m really gonna try hard this year to be a starting full back/defender (my coach calls it both). What are some good tips and tricks for me to become a better player at my position? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Never lose sight of your mark, who is typically an outside mid or a forward that drifts out wide. The most important part of being a defender is proper positioning. The best way to play is to position yourself where you can see both your mark, and the ball. You want to be far enough away that if your mark makes a run you can recover, but close enough that if the ball is passed to him, you will get there the same time. This should be your standard position for defense.

The next thing would be the way to defend, pushing your mark to the outside. Approach from an angle, slowing down as you get closer because they can come and burn you. How you close down on defense is crucial to if you make the tackle, or you look like an idiot.

Now for the fun part of being a fullback, in some formations they are allowed to be a part of the attack, so part of being a good fullback is your ability with the ball, and how you well you can cross the ball.

So in summary, practice your positioning, constantly being aware of where everyone is on the field, and practice crossing, because there will be times where you get the ball in a position to help the attack.

Best of luck

Is there tricks to making a disability claim get approval faster through Social Security?

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

I have been told that there are tricks and information that Social Security doesn’t offer you that could speed your process up to start receiving benefits faster. Where can I go and learn all I need to learn about what to know about social security benefits and special circumstances .

Almost nobody is approved "instantly" as previously mentioned. My aunt had terminal brain cancer with 6 weeks to live and she was denied. My uncle had terminal non-hodgkins lymphoma with a team of doctors (including a doctor that worked with disability determination services) writing letters, faxing, calling to say that he was disabled and he was denied.

Your best bet is the get an attorney right off the bat.

Are there any tricks to connecting my Garmin nuvi 200w to the satellites?

Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

I recently bought a Garmin nuvi 200w off ebay and didn’t read until afterwards that it takes FOREVER to connect to satellites. I got it and this is the case. Since a lot of people have experienced this and expressed it, I was wondering if there were any ways or tricks to get it connected. I thought maybe turn it on like ten minutes before leaving or something like that. Please help, it’s a christmas present and I don’t want to disappoint someone.

The speed of connection to the satellites will depend on the location of the unit, and the availability of clear access to the sky. If you are in a house or parking garage, it will take longer to locate than if you are in an open field. It also will take longer if the unit is a long distance from the last found location, because it will need to reset itself.

Try the unit in an open area, with a clear view of the sky. Buildings, trees, mountains, and other obstructions can cause problems. After it finds the location, it should be able to re-locate itself after being turned off.
