Joining A Wine Club!

Friday, March 19th, 2010

When I think about wine I am I feel very comfortable saying that the best way to get your hands on some really good bottles is to join a wine club. Honestly I cannot think of any other method that can give you access to really great wines from all over the world. The big difference between a wine club, a grocery store, and a wine store is that the wine club has relationships with the vineyards they get their wine from. They also handpick the wine for you so you know you are always getting the best of the best! California Wine Club

Blender or Juice Extractor?

Monday, March 15th, 2010

Do i need a blender or a juice extractor? I asked myself this question when i started my first juice feasting…Because you’re like a newbie, you ask question to expert, you post on different forum to get the best anwers…and guess what? There is no best answer…That’s what i learned – because it depend on your need and what you want….

If you have a god blender powerful enough to break a lot of fiber, and a milk nuts bag to use as a filter…It’s fine, you get it….
Except Wheatgrass, you could make everything – i mean it’s easy to do nuts milk – take some nuts of your choice – soaked them – and the day after just put them in the blender with water and agave syrup or stevia to get a sweet flavor – that’s all – easy and fast…

If you want to make a green juice very rich in nutrients – take a celery, add spanich leaves and water – blend – put everything in a nuts milk to get the juice only – remove on the blender add 3 bananas and you get a sweet green smoothie…

Then you can do so much with a blender, why you would like to use a juice extractor?

In my opinion, if you use a masticating juice extractor, it’ s good because you’ll make really good juice – that’s why i would like to take one and of course i could also make some juice with greens leafy as Wheatgrass…
Then it’s only to have more juice, with best qualities…

Does that mean a blender make poor juice? Not at all, a blender make good juice, but it can’t break all the fiber so you ‘ll get less juice, and some of them have a heat generation with the blade and motor and that’s can destroy enzimes…However you coud get the same result with a centifugal juice extractor…

For me my best choice will be a blender as Vitamix and a masticating juicer as Champion…yes both because you could switch depend of juice you want to make…

Do You Love Making Wine?

Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010

I love to make wine. I honestly think that home wine making is absolutely one of the most fun and most rewarding hobbies that anyone can do. I say this for a very simple reason. There is something deeply satisfying about creating a wine from beginning to end. More than this there is something very satisfying about being able to give that wine away to friends and family and allow them to enjoy it as well. When I give my home made wine away as gifts I am always delighted to see the looks of shock on people’s faces when they realize how good the wine I make actually is. wine making recipes

A Good Wine Club

Friday, February 19th, 2010

So you want to join a wine club, but have no clue what to look for in a good club? Well hopefully I will be able to help. First and foremost you have to make sure that the club delivers the kinds of wines that you like. I mean if you are not a big fan of bold full bodied reds you certainly do not want to be getting them in the mail on a monthly basis. The next thing you need to look for in a good club is the level of personalized service. What I mean by this is that you should find out who is actually picking the wine that is being shipped.
