Wine making is not a very difficult hobby. Out of all my current hobbies I would actually say it is the easiest. I mean if you know how to cook you know how to make wine. The process if actually fairly simple. First you need to take some fruit and mash it up. Then you are going to boil that fruit on the stove in a bit of water. After this is done you strain it (sometimes optional), and add it to a large airtight jug. Ferment the juice with some sugar and yeast for 2 weeks (or longer depending on a variety of factors) and you got yourself a batch of wine.

Yeah I will admit it. Wine making is without question one of my favorite hobbies. It really allows me to be creative. I also am someone who loves to cook. I cook a lot and what I learned was that making wine is a perfect fit to cooking up almost any dish. I guess you could say that cooking and wine making fit together like peanut butter and jelly … one is kind of an extension of the other.
