How should I begin building the Globe Theater out of Legos?

Thursday, December 24th, 2009

So yeah. I’ve got an English project that’s due in about a month. And I decided to use Legos, because then I won’t have to get into it with all the wood and stuff. And I figure Legos are pretty easy to use. But I just realized that the Globe Theater is Octagonal, how would I make the diagonals?

Look on the Internet for how to make a curved wall out of bricks.

Google lists 10K hits on "make a curved wall Lego."

Includes a Mobius structure made of Legos.

What is a good website to learn free magic tricks?

Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009

I want to learn Magic tricks, but I dont want to spend any money. I’ve tried google, but they give bad advertisements for money costing sites. I know many card tricks, I want to know other street magic.
I want to learn magic without spending money, I know card tricks but I would like to learn other illusions and stage magic, or street magic. I would like it to be an in-depth website, easy to flip through.

How can I make The Globe Theatre model or blueprint?

Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009

For my class project, I need to make a model of the Globe Theatre. They don’t have a limit on the size, however, I want it to be no bigger than a laptop. It says I need to label the various parts of the model or blueprint. I would prefer doing the model because I basically like doing models. What kind of materials do you think I should use?

I am a US resident who speaks English. I really want to visit other countries where English is not the primary language, but am hesitant because I am very weak in acquiring foreign language skills.

is the sub zero skateboard shop in philadelphia still around?

Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

i went there a while back and it was on some street in south philadelphia and the next time i went there, it had moved across the street, and then when i went there after that, it wasnt on that street anymore at all. is sub zero still around in philadelphia, like did they just have to change addresses or what?? or are they closed down now?

Phonebook says they’re at 517 S. 5th St., which if my math is right should put them between Lombard and South.

Phone number is 267-278-2738
