well that doesn’t make since try to get some hair
ok well my freinds love skatebording, really good friend of mine has been skating since he was 3 and hes REALLY GOOD and my other friend just started but hes becomeing fairly good at it but i need some help which skateboard should i start out with? i know theirs aton of brands out their like zero, element etc. but witch one do u think is the best for the money? and what type of shoes should i get? again i know theirs aton of brands out their but wich ones are the best? and how long do u think it would take me to get the basics like balance? finally last qestion will i fall alot when trying to land some tricks? i know this is a stupid qestion but i hate getting hurt sometimes.
i am only thirteen and started skating mostly in the spring i can ollie(duh), fs shove it, and bs 180, casper, and flamingo.my first board i got 6 months ago and it is an element and it is still in good condition might consider that. Plan B’s are good too. of course get some skate shoes because they grip a lot better than other shoes. I have fallen’s my little bro has adio’s. balancing is easy you’ll get that in the first week.for tricks the most basic is the ollie i’m pretty sure your friend can show you how to do that. as for falling, do not be scared i fell a lot but never ever cried just felt dizzy but it wears off. come on even Rodney mullen bails and look how awesome he is. finally, it is all about commitment. are you gong to do something skateboard related every day or only in front of your friends? if it grows to become a part of your life, follow through. go with your friend to skateparks and start out on mini rails and ramps. when you feel more confident, go on some thing bigger. lastly, find your motivation. mine is to watching the pros do it and think they were once like you and i. keep practicing.
ok im soon gonna get my first skateboard i wanna know what is the best shop in connecticut. please please please help i’ve been searching on google map i havent found a good one. but no luck it has to be in CT please help me! ![]()

I want to put a deck in my back yard; however, there is a bulkhead needs to be hidden by the deck or incorporated into the deck. Does anyone have an idea or have done this before?
You might brick it over, maybe even put in a brick BBQ while you are at it.
I believe my element burned out on my hotwater heater and I need to know step by step on how to replace it. Its practically a 3 yr old hotwater heater and it has a safety tank on top of the heater. I know to turn off the power, and I already unscrewed the plates on the front of the heater. Took out the installation and now I just need to know how to get the elements out.
Actually- it is a HOT water heater. This is a designation used in the trade and stationary engineering business to differentiate between steam, and hot water boilers. Its not a steam boiler- its a hot water heater.
Secondly- here’s what you do. Make sure you know what element is bad. turn the power off and disconnect the wires from both elements. get a voltmeter and set it to read continuity. if it doesn’t give continuity between the two terminals the heater is bad.
1. look on the rating plate for your heater and see what the KW rating is of each element.
2. turn off the power to the heater
3. shut off the cold water supply to the heater
4. drain the heater from the bottom drain.
5. go to the store and pick up a new element rated to the Kw of the one you need, and while you’re there get a heater element wrench.
6. take the wrench you bought and screw out the bad element.
7. put the new element in
8. close the bottom drain valve, fill the heater, and restore power.
I just bought this long board cruiser, you know like a sector nine, and i like it i just hate the grip tape…i mean theres nothing wrong with its function i just dont like how it looks, its sortof gay…i just wanted to know if a skate shop will replace the grip with some plain black grip or if they only do that with regular skate boards…help me out?
If you pay for the grip tape I don’t know why they shouldn’t.
I just bought a pair of Bernie Etnies. I noticed they make a popping sound when I lift my heel off the ground. Is that just the padding they have their that still needs to be worn in or is there something wrong with them?
Aaah, they’re gonna explode!!! Dispose of them while you still can!!!!
No, lol
They need to be broken in, go for a nice long run.
I don’t hate cooking, but I hate the inconvenience. A few times a week, I don’t mind. But I dread the thought of cooking dinner every day. Unfortunately, due to health issues my husband and I need to start eating home cooked food more – no eating out, no processed foods. What are your personal tricks for making cooking faster, more interesting and more fun everyday?
This is so dorky I can’t even believe I’m admitting to it, but here goes:
Sometimes I pretend I’m the host of my own cooking show, and I try to think of interesting way to prepare and present what I’m doing, talking to the imaginary camera the whole time. It really makes the time go by and it also lets me relax and be someone else for a little while!! lol
One Thanksgiving I was doing the turkey and my mom just insisted that I teach my younger sister how to do it. So, I started narrating what I was doing, and she was totally disinterested. I kept going, regardless of her bored sighs and eye rolling. Finally, she looked at me and said, "You’re not even talking to ME anymore, are you?" I thought that was so funny because really, I wasn’t. I was talking to my audience watching at home!!
The equipments used are
-12V light globe
-ammeter
-voltmeter
-electrical leads
-tap switch
-power pack
I said that the equipments could be faulty cause they’ve been used many times….
What can I say about the accuracy of the equipments?
Can I say that the connecting wires provide a little bit of resistance too, which makes the results not so accurate?
Also, will having connecting wires of different lengths affect the results too?
The ammeter and voltmeter always make a possible error. This error is usually provided with the meters, but you could estimate it yourself. For example, if the voltmeter measures 11.87 volts, you could use the value 11.9 with a error of 0.1.
The connecting wires indeed provide a little resistance, this is however a very small value and (I think) neglectable by comparison with the non-ohmic behavior of the light bulb itself.
You could use more data points to get more accurate results. The temperature inside the light bulbs wire may vary significantly, so I don’t think (but I’m no expert) that the light globe really is expected to behave ohmic.
"The Freeline Skates™ are extremely portable making them the smallest and lightest form of transportation."
How well do they work on sidewalks, etc? Do they require a lot of space to get going?
I’m just thinking of short distances, within 30 min – 1 hr walk.
freelines are cool to ride… downhill. but if a workouts what u want, then do it ! you might get a new hobby will your at it. good luck
